I just wanted to say thank you SO MUCH to everyone for all the birthday wishes!! I've gotten more Happy Birthdays (and llamas! I simply LOVE the llamas!!) on DA than I have on facebook, and while that's kind of sad for my social life, it just goes to show you how awesomely awesome and beautifully Random Cactus DA is. And now, with Aerosmith in my near future, and Celtic Thunder beyond that, life is truly good. You people rock, every single one of you!!

We get it, the Sword of Truth is awesome
Seriously...how many of those jump-off-a-rock-and-swing-sword-in-slow-motion action shots does Richard have to have per episode?
Since Robin Hood got cancelled, and Merlin won't be back for a while, I've transferred my obsession over to the new season of Legend of the Seeker. Anyone else watch this show?
There have been plenty of eye-roll moments this season (most related to slow motion fight sequences and writhing bodies in the underworld
), but overall I think it's safe to say I'm addicted.Cara is funny, the Richard/Kahlan relationship is at the perfect pace, and several minor characters have been pulled through multiple episodes and lived on. It seemed like, last season, most minor characters were introduced and killed within an episode.
And is it just me, or does Craig Horner lose his shirt a lot?
That is not a complaint.
I can't wait to see what happens with the whole Richard as Wizard arc. I'm not even through reading the first book, so I have no idea where the show will go. And I'm trying my hardest not to wiki the synopsis.
In totally unrelated news, I can't wait to see Pierce Brosnan as a centaur.

This may change in the future, but for now:
My drawings may be used for whatever, as long as you don't take credit for my work, and aren't making money off of it. </em> Within a week, I had my first drawing used (with permission) on an outside site, and then that same drawing 'stolen' on a different site. By a four year old.

Temporary Hiatus

So I guess it's kind of unnecessary to say, but I thought I'd let you guys know that I'll be taking a break from art until the end of the semester. School (specifically my human bio class...ugh)is kicking my butt. I need to focus on studying for the time being. It actually hurts me to write that, but for the first time since 7th grade, I'm at risk of failing a class.
In somewhat happier news, I can tell you that I have a very large Jared Leto pencil portrait in the works, so expect that sometime in December. Until then, hope everything is going well for everyone else.
